Celine Dion’s 2016 style transformation has catapulted her into fashion rock-star status, but her latest ensemble proves that Dion’s sensibility extends beyond classic labels like Saint Laurent.
On Friday in Paris, the 48-year-old Grammy winner exited the Royal Monceau Raffles Hotel in an outfit we would have expected to see on a trend-setting chart-topper like, say, Rihanna. The beauty wore an oversize black Vetements hoodie with vintage-inspired graphics from Titanic that included both Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet’s face. The chanteuse, who famously sang the 1997 blockbuster’s theme song, “My Heart Will Go On,” threw on light-wash Saint Laurent jeans, gold ankle-strap metallic Gucci heels, classic aviator sunglasses, and carried a Tod’s python mini handbag in silver.
This wasn’t the only memorable outfit the singer pieced together this week. Dion exuded Parisian elegance on Thursday by pairing a leaf-print sleeveless coat with, again, jeans, and statement making accessories. Her scarf, which hung over a geometric handbag, gave the outfit a tropical twist. She completed the look with John Hardy bracelets.
